Who we are
Aireborough Family Services (AKA Aireborough Cluster) represents a cluster of 14 schools in the North West of Leeds providing family support and therapeutic intervention to children and families across the Aireborough community (Rawdon, Yeadon, Guiseley, Menston and Hawksworth). We work holistically with other services in the area to promote best outcomes for children and families.
We are funded by our cluster of schools, health and social care to promote social and emotional wellbeing, resilience and positive parenting within families through early intervention. We have been delivering 1:1 support, services and groups since 2009 and have a small team of qualified, experienced Therapists and Family Support Workers who provide short-term interventions with families, children and young people in the home, at school and here at Albion House.
We receive referrals from a number of agencies, most notably our schools, from there we determine the right avenue for children and families to access support city wide, in the local area and online.
In order to access our services there must be an “assessment of need”, this is usually in the form of an Early Help assessment carried out with you and a professional together. We do not accept self referrals. If you would like to discuss access to AFS then please contact your child’s school.
In order to access our services you must have a child on roll with one of our cluster schools. If your child is registered at a different school, please speak with them about which cluster may be able to support you.
If your child is not on roll at a school then please contact the Family Hubs on 0113 535 0185 or [email protected].
