Cluster Support

There are 22 clusters in Leeds. Clusters are a mechanism to implement statutory guidance, by supporting those families, children, and young people in need of help and to ensure they are offered the right intervention at the right time, early in the life of the problem.

Leeds operates a "Graduated Approach" to support for families, whether this be support with Mental Health, SEND or Family Support more broadly. This means that services sit within a system-see example below of some services and where they sit in the "Graduated Approach". Families and individuals will receive support from the right part of the system at the right time, usually exhausting each step before moving on - if necessary.
